Accommodating drop-off appointments at our clinic involves creating a streamlined process to ensure both efficiency and quality care. To facilitate this, we have provided the paperwork online, to be filled out and submitted before your arrival, or printed and brought with you to the appointment (** please do not submit this form without first having an appointment scheduled**). A drop-off appointment involves leaving your pet with us for some time so that we can do an exam in between our already-booked patients. After the exam is complete, you will be informed about your pet’s condition and treatment plan, and arrangements will be made for picking up your pet at a designated time. Once you have booked a drop-off appointment at our clinic, you can complete and submit the online form, or it can be printed off, filled out, and brought with you to the appointment. If you are unable to do the paperwork ahead of time, we will provide you with the forms at the time of drop-off (please ensure that you have time to complete this upon arrival).
* If your pet is coughing, or potentially contagious, please leave them in your vehicle while you check in with the office.
Occasionally a veterinarian may be available to do the exam when you arrive, but most often you will be leaving your pet with us for several hours. Please make sure that you are available by phone during this time. If for any reason you may be unavailable, please inform us before leaving the office.
If your pet’s condition deteriorates before you arrive at our clinic, please head to the nearest Veterinary Emergency Facility, and call us to inform us if this happens.
If your pet improves, and you no longer require the appointment, please call our office to cancel. There are fees ($40) for late/missed appointments, or for failure to give sufficient notice for cancelling that may be applied.
If sedation may be required, please do not feed your pet before the appointment (water is ok).
